Grain Merchandiser

A very successful grain operation is currently seeking a Grain Merchandiser to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody to get their foot in the door with an industry leader. Full training is provided for the right individual.

Merchandising
Responsibilities:


  • Customer service relations - be responsive and courteous
  • Sales and Marketing - develop and execute marketing plans to drive short and long term growth
  • Risk Management - assist with the development of marketing plans for producers
  • Prepare grain inventory records, grades, purchase contracts, sales contracts and settlements
  • Build relationships within the community and outside customers

Merchandiser
Qualifications:


  • 4-year degree in marketing or any other business/agriculture related field
  • Ability to learn business accounting systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
