Minimum Qualifications
Requires a Juris Doctorate degree and licensure to practice law in North Dakota.

Preference will be given to applicants with family law experience and/or Title IV-D experience.

Principal duties provide a good introduction into family law in North Dakota and include: litigate the establishment of paternity, child support obligations, and health insurance obligations; enforce child support and medical support obligations; review and modify court orders; assist staff in legal matters; draft legal documents and perform legal research; provide input when formulating policy and procedures; and public relations. May also involve appellate work. Will also involve work in the tribal courts.
